Matt Vico

(Director of Sales - West Coast)

Matt Vico is a Southern California native, residing in Long Beach and having been injured in an accident over 10 years ago, he has continuously been a force to be reckoned with. He attended California State University, Long Beach, where he received a B.S. in Kinesiology – Exercise Science, as well as a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. While attending CSU Long Beach, Matt worked to develop an Inclusive Recreation Program which provides various adaptive sport and recreation opportunities for the students. He was also the Cabinet Member for Disability Affairs within the student government, ensuring ADA compliance throughout the campus and promoting disability advocacy. Matt brings so much to value to GNS Medical Supplies as a Business Development Manager, not only with his tenacity and passion to help others but also his extreme well-rounded knowledge of all products available. Matt has a deep passion for the maximum health and wellness of people living with disabilities. It is Matt’s desire to help promote the mission of GNS Medical Supplies, and truly enable those with disabilities while dissolving current stereotypes.

Matt currently serves as the Vice-President of Professional Abilities Association of America, which is an organization that focuses on supporting and recognizing professionals with disabilities, their accomplishments, and their ABILITIES, while promoting awareness of the strength and richness they bring to the business and professional realm.

Matt is a proud disability advocate that is continuously pushes for more access in all aspects of life. He believes that all people living with disabilities have the right to be as independent as possible. He strives to empower and bring awareness to others with and/or without disabilities, of the high importance of acceptance and inclusion.
Matt’s ambition to be an extraordinary role-model within the community is what set’s him apart. While at the same time, enabled him to be companionate and considerate towards others.

Matt continues to be an active member within his community, attending various events pertaining to those with disabilities. He is presently a member of the Triumph Foundation, as well as the California Adaptive Rowing Program.
